Impact

Memphis Union Mission has been the city’s primary service provider to the homeless since 1945, and it continues in that role even as the number of homeless individuals in the city has steadily increased.

Last year we provided 142,259 nights of shelter.

We served 376,088 meals last year.

86% of the people we serve indicate access our services on a daily basis. For these clients, the Mission becomes their temporary lifeline.

Memphis Union Mission serves over 90% of Shelby County individuals who use emergency shelters.
