As summer temperatures continue across the Mid-South, our Men’s Cooling Center at Memphis Union Mission remains open, providing a safe, air-conditioned place where men can find relief from the dangerous heat.
While many first come to the Mission seeking immediate help, they discover something even greater. Through our Christ-centered recovery programs, men and women are achieving sobriety, preparing for employment, securing permanent housing, and rebuilding relationships with their families. Every day, lives are being transformed through the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Memphis Union Mission receives no municipal, county, state, or federal government funding. As a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), we are committed to accountability, transparency, and faithful stewardship. We provide more than emergency shelter and meals—we offer Christ-centered programs and recovery services designed to bring lasting transformation. Through counseling, discipleship, life-skills development, and long-term support, men are equipped to overcome the root causes of homelessness and rebuild their lives with renewed hope and purpose.
